EndInspect is a standalone camera solution that analyzes annual rings and shape on end grain as well as bow on the flat side of cross-fed boards to analyze the placement of the pith center or cupping. A total of 4 analysis methods are used, with the main analysis being image analysis using AI. The AI model is delivered with a standardized database and then trained on the customer's product catalog for best final results. EndInspect's typical application is in the processing section of sawmills or wood industry to ensure that the board is correctly positioned for subsequent processing or packaging.
